Psychological counseling and coaching
As an experienced practicing psychologist, hypnotherapist, former teacher and lecturer, I support people through challenging phases of life. My aim is to help you further develop and expand your self-competencies so that you can (re)successfully master life's mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical challenges.
My background
I have been fortunate in my life to always be able to follow my passions when it comes to career choice, professional practice, and education and training.
So I began my professional journey with training at a primary school teacher training college. Curiosity and a thirst for knowledge led me to the decision to pursue further studies. My options were languages, music, or psychology. I initially chose to study languages, focusing on English and Russian, which, in addition to linguistic and literary knowledge, provided me with invaluable life experiences thanks to numerous language immersion programs. However, psychology never truly let go of me, as I have always been fascinated by the human condition. A gap year at the age of forty then solidified my resolve to delve even deeper into this field, leading to a third qualification as a practicing psychologist.
My linguistic, psychological, and didactic/methodological knowledge is crucial for my practical work.
As a former teacher and lecturer with over 30 years of teaching experience at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels, I am very familiar with the field of education and can offer effective support. Since I have also personally experienced many of the emotional, mental, psychological, and physical challenges and found ways to overcome them, I can understand you well if you are facing similar situations.
With this background, I can competently advise and support you on your journey with solid knowledge and tried and tested tools.

Why I work as a practicing psychologist & coach
Because being human fascinates me
The human condition in all its facets fascinates me anew each day. This includes engaging with sustainable health and personal development, as well as grappling with the fundamental questions of life. The question of the interplay between body, mind, and spirit encompasses both the physical and metaphysical levels.
My own life journey has shown me that we can actively shape our own development and significantly influence our health on all levels.
Because meaningfulness is central to me
For me, there is hardly anything more fulfilling professionally than witnessing people learn, develop, and thereby tangibly blossom and find their own unique path. Whether in a one-on-one session in my practice or within a small group setting, I love to fully engage with you as an individual and your specific needs.
Because reason and intuition are equally important in my work
Effective psychological counseling and support requires both hemispheres of the brain – the right and the left. In my work with you, I combine my analytical, logical, and rational side with my creative and intuitive side, which I find incredibly exciting.
This, combined with my diverse training and many years of professional experience, allows me to identify solutions that are tailored to your personality and your specific needs – customized and practical for everyday life.
Because my job is my calling
I consider it a privilege that I don’t simply work because one has to do any job, but that I have a job I do with deep conviction and great passion.
I am guided by clear values that serve as my compass: integrity and mindfulness, as well as sound knowledge combined with reliable commitment, flexibility, and humility before life and your personal journey. And of course, a touch of humor is always welcome.
Why coaching with me is efficient
Psychological counseling and coaching doesn't necessarily have to be lengthy to achieve desired results. The following factors will contribute to an efficient coaching process:
- Focusing on the goal means never losing sight of the goal throughout the entire process and modifying it if necessary.
- A holistic 4-level approach means that all four levels – mental, emotional, spiritual, or physical – are taken into account in a situation-appropriate manner to solve the problem.
- Multimodality means that different psychological approaches, methods, techniques and strategies are used individually and appropriately to the issue at hand.
- Emergency phone means that you can contact me at any time between sessions if necessary, and I will make time for you as quickly as possible.
